Tielt Badminton Club

September 2009

Tielt Badminton Club wanted to have an online platform to inform its members. The committee was willing to pay for a professional hosting service, therefore there was an opportunity to create an advanced site. The current version is completely database-driven and offers a lot of interactive functionalities.

Prom Pictures

July 2008

At the end of every schoolyear, the secondary school “De Bron” organizes a prom for the final year pupils. This site collects photos of the 2008 edition. I’ll keep these albums online as long as they’re getting funnier in time. Oh, I was one of the pupils that year, but I’m not telling you on which photo I am.

Gaume Trip Memory

March 2008

Fourteen pupils and four adults went on a trip to the Gaume. It became an unforgettable journey thanks to the great atmosphere. I made a site to store some memories of that week. The content is protected with a password. Consequently the link to the site is stored here for traveling companions.

Stekene Badminton Club

September 2007

After a decent look at the first version of the Tielt Badminton Club website, the badminton club of Stekene contacted me to develop a site with similar functionalities. I decided to do my homework again and created a clean content management system from scratch. The result is an solid website with regular updates from club members.

De Plezante Nonkel

October 2006

Following some similar sites, I created an online fun community. As in the name, the site is kind of a forum, mainly made to share funny stuff found around the world wide web. Due to the existence of other communities and the march of facebook, the site never became a big success. Nevertheless I keep it online since there’s still some amusing stuff in the huge database. Moreover, "De Plezante Nonkel" was my first large project with a successful release.

Custimizable Startpage

March 2006

As I didn’t find a startpage matching my needs, I decided to create one myself. During the development I got the idea to make the site generic and customizable so other persons could use it too. Today "LTstart" is outdated, there better alternatives on the web. It’s in my portfolio because the site represents my first functional use of some server-side scripting.

Ofwws

November 2003

When I was 12, I was already messing around with Visual Basic. No big stuff, though I made a program to practise the basis conjugation of the French verbs. The software was used in my school and I was pretty proud of it. Nowadays the program isn’t very impressive but it has some sentimental value for me. It also shows some creativity as the correctness of the filled in values are visualized by a self-made creature.
